Advanced Foot Care Nurse Program

Are you a nurse looking for a rewarding new career?

Enjoy one to one care and say goodbye to shift work when you choose the rewarding path of nursing foot care. This is a two part course that takes approximately 6 weeks including both the practical and clinical portions.  ​

  • 110hrs of Self Paced Online Learning

 

  • 43hrs of Onsite Clinical Practice including medical device reprocessing

 

  • Must hold current BCCNM registration as a LPN, RN, or RPN

Foot Health:
Self Care for Seniors

This 2 hour in person course is designed for elders, seniors and family caregivers who wish to learn more about self care & preventative foot health. Many common foot conditions are preventable.

The objective of this course is to increase awareness and to keep you walking!

Foot Health: The Role of the HCW/Support Worker

This workshop highlights the critical role that support personnel and caregivers play in their patients' foot health. As part of an interdisciplinary team, health care workers and support staff promote infection prevention while promoting foot health & hygiene for their clients. Participants of this course will be able to complete daily screening for common foot problems and provide safe basic foot hygiene.
